The Malaysian Furniture Promotion Council (MFPC) presents a Furniture Seminar entitled Understanding the Russian Furniture Market and Its Business Culture. Mr Vladimir Makeev, the Vice Director of the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprise of Russia and Committee Member of the World Furniture Confederation, will enlighten the Malaysian furniture industry players on the business environment in the Russian Federation and its furniture industry. He will also give insights on the opportunities for Malaysian furniture industry to effectively penetrating the Russian market.

About the Speaker
Mr Vladimir Makeev is an expert in the Russian furniture market. Having been in the business of furniture and wood base industry for years, he is currently the Vice Director of the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprise of Russia and Committee Member of the World Furniture Confederation.
With two titles under his belt, Mr Makeev represented the Russian Federation in the signing of World Furniture Confederation foundation Acts in 2007 at Shanghai. He has also been involved in enhancing the cooperation between international and national associations/organization in projects such as exhibitions, promotional activities and researches.
