On September, 9^th the Presidential Counsil of Association of furniture and woodworking enterprises of Russia took place.

              Results of work of the domestic industry of wood plates, plywood, furniture and an accessories in the first half-year of current year testify  serious recession with all following negative consequences (reduction of volumes of manufacture, reduction of workplaces, wages, profit).

             For 6 months of 2009 release of furniture by corresponding period of the last year has made 74 %, wood plates - 69,2 %, fiber board - 60,8 %, plywood - 68,4 %.

           On the basis of proving materials and references of Association in Federal enforcement authorities were accepted a number of Government decisions:

         - In March amendments to the Wood code of the Russian Federation were made - definition of features of a legal regime in “green” and “forest park” zones;

         - In April was ratified the list of the equipment at which import VAT is not collected;

         - In June on a constant basis duty-free import of sheets for facing from wood of tropical breeds was entered;

          - The measures directed on development of the enterprises of small business and improvement of work of bank system on crediting of real sector of economy were taken.

THE DECISIONS

1.          To AMEDORO executive management:

- Continue activities on rendering the practical help to the enterprises - manufacturers of wood plates and plywood in long-term fastening resource bases for logging;

- On the basis of data Rosstat lead an estimation of the market of furniture as a whole across the Russian Federation and in it subjects;

- Continue activities to made duty-free import of sheets for facing from wood of tropical breeds by thickness no more than 1 mm;

- Monitoring the information on tendering furniture for Olympic objects (Sochi 2014).

 2.           To the enterprises - members of Association:

·      Carry out bilateral negotiations to agree minimally possible cost prices for materials, an accessories and accessories;

·      Lead work on decrease in expenses for manufacture and realization of finished goods, increase of labour productivity and quality of let out production;

·      In a month direct to the executive management the offers on possible participation in foreign exhibition projects per 2010;

·      Take part in PR company " buy Russian " and other PR actions;
